We provide a range of external and internal architectural photography services throughout the UK (we are in Leicester in the UK East Midlands (Northampton, Nottingham and Derby)). Construction/Architecture Photography
Northlight provides commercial photography services for all stages of a project, from site planning (with panoramic wide view images) and background images for design simulation and visualisation, through construction and handover to clients.
For development projects, our high quality images are often used in brochures and promotional materials. We can provide photography during all phases of building projects, for both commercial and residential developments.
The image below is from a large set of pre-planning visualisation images for a major road scheme. We can provide very high resolution VR photography (several gigabytes per file).

In addition to Keith Cooper's fine art landscape work, Northlight Images produces large prints of our work for decorative, promotional and visualisation purposes.
The main stage area at the new Curve Theatre in Leicester. In a two hour site visit, we were able to provide the client with over a hundred high resolution images showing progress on the site.

Although based in Leicester, we cover both East and West Midlands with our architectural photography services. Our commercial landscape photography service is available throughout the UK.
We work closely with architects, project management and agencies to ensure our images are always supplied to meet your needs, whether for web or print use.
Photographs come with all our expertise in colour management and high quality reproduction.
We can provide images in a variety of geometric projections for different uses and can help with image correction and processing advice if required.
The very wide angles covered in some of the interior pictures on this page are difficult to achieve without awkward distortion. We can supply an image in several different projections so as to best meet your needs.
Natural lighting for interior architectural studies
We like to use natural lighting whenever possible.
All the examples on this page use available light - an important consideration when working on an active construction site.
For some black and white examples, have a look at our venue photography page. The shots were taken with no additional lighting, at 11:30pm for a local bar, to promote their jazz club. All the examples were produced as ~26"x17" prints for decorative use.
When do you need the photos?
We can sometimes fit in work at only a few days notice.
This is particularly so in the Leicestershire and the UK East Midlands region. We do however work throughout the UK.
Our aim is to accommodate your requirements and provide commercial photography that fits in with your plans.
We always provide images in digital formats to suit your requirements, typically 'print ready' at 300dpi in either tiff or Photoshop psd formats.
That said, if you just want JPEGs then that's OK with us...
We can produce CD based 'web galleries' of your images and will quote for any additional image enhancement, perspective correction or processing work that you may require.

We also provide product photography training services for people who want to improve the quality of their own photography and photography training/seminars for Estate Agents wanting to take better interior and exterior photographs.
Keith offers individual tuition and training courses to companies and private individuals. Recently this has included helping an up market Estate Agency improve both the quality of its photographs -and- the quality/accuracy of its printed brochures. Keith Cooper is a qualified Adult Education tutor and runs a number of local training courses covering such items as:
- Digital Photography (introductory/intermediate level).
- Photography without a darkroom (intermediate/advanced level).
- Technical aspects include: digital cameras, scanning film, printing and Colour management.
